Office Pro Plus 2013 - Outlook scheduling assistant showing no info

Hallo,

I have a Surface Pro 3 with Office Professional Plus 2013 installed.

I work to a client, i use their email (thou my PC is not in domain).

WHen i had previous pc (a laptop with windows 8.1 and Outlook 2010) it was working.

Now I cannot see, in my Outlook calendar, anybody's status information in the scheduling assistant.

I saw some KB about the presence of a couple of updates that might have had caused the problem but those are not among the ones that i have installed.

Is there an update that fixes this problem that i could have missed?

First of all, make sure that you have all the latest updates installed.

Test the issue on another device, and/or via OWA. It's most likely an Autodiscover issue, but knowing if it works on another device gives us a hint whether it's a local one, or some more generic issue. You can test this on the SP3 device: open Outlook, hold the CTRL key, right-click on the Outlook tray icon and select Test E-Mail autoconfiguration. Enter your username and password, clear the two "Guessmart" checkboxes and run the test.

If everything is working as expected, you should see the XML file in the last tab. In the output, look for the  <EwsUrl></EwsUrl> entry, this is the endpoint to which Outlook must be able to connect to get the free/busy info. Paste this URL into your browser and see if you can open it. A request for credentials should appear, let us know if you can login successfully.
