Using Office 365 32-bit on Win7 Pro PC. When I try to open a file from a network drive, Word, Excel and Powerpoint (that's all I've tried thus far) crash and restart. I can open the same file from local without issue. Using the FixIt tool
removes everything and then I have to go through an entire reinstall and hoping I can avoid that time sink. Adobe Add-ins disabled. Safe mode did not solve this for any of the applications.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
I have the same problem. After migrating from regular drive to SSD opening any word or excel document from shared drive on a remote server causes a crash.
There is no error in windows log, only information - "The Software Protection service has completed licensing status check." Though the same happens when I open the file from local drive, with only difference that the office application gets opened.
I use 32bit of office365 2013. I can send Offcat report, though I did not find the solution in it.
It is possible to open the excel file using full network address. It crashed when opened via mapped drive.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
