Offline address book download
Hi,
For some reason the outlook address book is not updating anymore.
Whenever we create a new user , he doesn't appear on the global address book.
If I go to outlook and go to Download address book , I choose full details to download , I got an error saying :
useradmin1@ecogan.com reported error (0x8004011D): 'The server is not available. Contact your administrator if this condition persists.'
Any help would be appreciated.
Here is some more information on what happened :
I had one exchange 2003 server : Mail1
I installed Exchange 2007 on a different workstation : Mail2 (this server has mailbox role , transport and client access roles)
I moved all the mailbox to the exchange 2007.
Up to now , everything was still working fine.
Then I installed 2 x exchange 2007 servers as CCR , and both has mailbox roles (Node1 and Node2)
I moved all the mailbox to the new servers. So the server Mail2 doesn't have anymore mailbox.
Since then I have this issue.
Please could you help me on this issue.
Thank you.

Hi,
You might want to read over this post, http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2841372&SiteID=17.Which server is building the OAB? What version of Outlook are your clients using? Are you publishing the OAB to both the CAS and PF's?
Thanks

Hi,
Thank you for your answer.
All my clients are exchange 2007.
I went through the 2 posts , and what I did last night after my post. I disabled OAB on public folders. Because we don't use public folders.
I also checked the right OAB on the server.
What I noticed , is that there is a virtual directory for OAB on the CAS and hub server , but there is no virtual directory or app pool for OAB on the mailbox role server.
And now when I download the entire OABthe error I am getting is 0x80190193: The operation failed.
Any suggestions ?
Thank you

I think I figured it out.
I just had to clear the SSL box from the OAB virtual directory
It worked like a charm.
Thank you again for all your help.
