Hi
If outlook is not in cached mode it will pick up new accounts in GAL from a GC within minutes. Otherwise it uses OAB.
If you run, Set-EventLogLevel "MSExchangeSA\OAL Generator" -Level medium
before running Update-OfflineAddressBook -Identity "Default Offline Address Book"
you may look for the related events in eventlog. Check for any errors to debug it in a better wayRegards from www.windowsadmin.info

If you cant see users from over 2 months ago, maybe you should recreated the OAB and start again.

Hi,
Did you use the default OAB from the server? I suggest you delete it and re-create a new one. And once
they are done, EMC will trigger the update of OAB.

Hi evryone ,
I traced this problem and solved it sucessfully,
The problem was we had two mailbox server running in cluster, node A and Node B,Initially Node A was active and Node B was passive,Somehow long back the Nobe A has become passive and Node B became active ,which we did not notice from many days, from that
day itself i CAS server has stopped pulling the OAB from Node A since it became passive, after lot of research in internet this weekend i made Noda A active, and within seconds all the problem flashed away and OAB started replicating properly once again,
Once again thanks to everyone for you tips on this problem Abubakar Mirasa Dubai,UAE Dubai, Microsoft Specalist
