Hiya We used to have 2 main mail servers and 1 frontend mail server, since then we removed one of the small mail servers and now just have 1 big server running exchange and another for the frontend server. The single liveExchange server is running fine on its own, has no problems, nothing much error wise in the event log, all things work fine etc, but for some reason it still has a reference to the old 2nd mail server in it somewhere. I've checked the settings and it all seems fine and nothing seems to refer to the old mail server, the old mail server isn't in AD, no mention of the old server in theregistryand its not on the network, but still when adding things like a SMTP connector on the live server it still thinks the old mail server is there... Anyone have any clues where it might be getting the old mail server name, details etc from as its damn annoying although it doesnt cause any problems. Thanks PS the live server is Windows/Exchange 2003, the old server was Windows/Exchange 2003/2003
