Client has 2003 DC onsite and exchange 2k7.  Wants to move the 100 users to exchange online and create a failover solution for AD in case of an outage.  Was thinking to create a replica AD VM in Azure since they have the service already. Create AD FS and Directory Sync VM's in Azure and sync to exchange online removing on prem 2k7 solution.  If I do this will the on prem DC that is on 2003 platform 32 bit need to be decommissioned and a new instance of 2k8 64 bit or 2k12 need installed on prem to work with the replica AD in Azure and exchange online?
