I am not an Exchange expert by any means and I need to know if the scenario I have in mind is possible. I am the captain of a ship and we travel world wide. We use Exchange Server 2010 for our emails and the server is onboard the ship. Obviously we are occassionally in areas where we have no always on internet connection, especially when crossing oceans. When senior crew are on leave they still need to access their emails, even if the ship has no internet connection. Ideally I would like this to happen without changing settings in Outlook on their laptops. I had in mind a second server ashore that is accessed by crew onleave. With both servers being synchronised when the internet connection is available. I'm not sure I have explained that clearly, but I hope somebody can advise. Thanks.
