Onedrive for Business can't sync library

First I login to Office 365 portal. Then I tried to sync Library with PC. I tried through both online and OneDrive for Business installed on PC.

But I an getting an error message, "we can't sync library because it's too large".

I have configured before in another PC for syncing. When I upload files through portal, it will synchronize. showing in PC.        

Why I am getting this error message?

Hi,

Based on the message you got, the library you tried to sync was too large. Note the following limitations related to syncing OneDrive for Business and other site libraries to your computer:

  • You can sync up to 20,000 items in your OneDrive for Business library, including folders and files.

  • You can sync up to 5,000 items in site libraries, including folders and files.

  • In any library, you can download files up to 2 GB.

Note The OneDrive for Business client tool 5,000 file limitation for team site libraries and 20,000 file limitation for OneDrive for Business libraries is a fixed limit of Office 365 that presently, cannot be changed.

Check the items in your library, it seems your library has exceeded the 20,000 or the 5,000 limitation. When you configured this on another PC before, it probably had not exceeded the limitation.

To use the OneDrive for Business client tool with these libraries you will need to reduce the number of files and folders in the libraries until the file and folder count in the libraries drops below the limit. You can create multiple document libraries in your OneDrive for Business site.
