Out of Office Inside Organization/Outside Organization - Definitions
I can't seem to find any documentation on the definition of Organization. Does anyone know if inside the org is all SMTP addresses in your Exchange Org? For instance we have contacts for external vendors in the GAL, do they count as inside the org or outside the org?

I have always worked on the basis that inside the org will be delivery to a mailbox inside your Exchange org. A contact is not inside your org, as the mail leaves your Exchange org for delivery. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP. http://blog.sembee.co.uk , http://exbpa.com/

Hi, To answer your question, Organization is usually defined as your company and includes people who have an Exchange Server account on your e-mail system. Regarding to the contacts, they are defined as Outside the Organization. For more information about Automatically Replies, please refer to the link below: Automatically reply to e-mail messages with an Exchange account (formerly Out of Office Assistant) Thanks, NovakPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
