Outlook-crashed

Dear Concern,

I have been using Outlook 2010 since July 2014.

Certainly last Saturday my outlook crashed. I had no back up. All my important official mails lost.

I am in huge problem. But my HP system is all fine.

Please assist in recovering back the lost emails.

Very urgent.

Hello Rumela

Try to run Outlook in Safe Mode first

Type outlook.exe /safe  in Search box, Remember there is a space between outlook.exe and /safemode

If it is working then it may be result of corrupt data file or any Add-Ins installed. Remove the Add-Ins one by one to check which one is making Outlook crash. If it doesn't help then run scanpst.exe tool to repair corrupt Outlook file by followinng steps mentioned here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/272227/

Hello,

The scanspst.exe as mentioned above is the perfect tool in case your PST file gets corrupted . So in case if your Outlook crashes, then Scanpst.exe also known as Inbox Repair Tool is the first solution to repair your Outlook Data file.

But in case of permanently deleted items, inbox repair tool fails. Still, not to worry if you are connected to exchange. Because if you had enabled the Dumpster feature, then a copy of all your mails, even the permanently deleted items are also stored there. So Contact your Exchange Administrator to get back your permanently deleted mails that are available in a Dumpster. But in case, if Dumpster also fails due to any reason, then you can switch to any third party utility that can recover PST file. According to my personal experience, SysTools Outlook Recovery has come up with the advanced tool that deals with the Permanently deleted Emails. It has been evaluated as one of the best softwares to get fruitful results.

Note: Before moving to the third party utility, do use its Demo version to confirm its working.

Clark Kent
