Outlook 2003 third part Addin Problem
HelloDear AllSome of My OL clients are facing "Search Difficulties" on a Shared MailboxWhen User click on INBOX of Shared mailbox and LOOK FOR "XXY" it finds the content when try to openit gives error "CANNOT OPEN ITEM"when i disable the ESET NOD 32 V 4 ADDin NO errors how can i solve this Please.....!God Blessings.........!RASA

What is the use of this 3rd party Addin? I guess this is due to the Conflict between Outlook and the third party addin. Could you also launch Outlook with /safemode and see the same? also you can reinstall the third party tool and check Vinod |CCNA|MCSE 2003 +Messaging|MCTS|ITIL V3|

Hello ThanksActually we are using NOD32 AV in outlook ESET ADD in automatically adds when i disable this i can search and find results if enabled canot find item error appearsGod Blessings.!RASA

Hi,Apparently, the Nod32 AV is not compatible with the Outlook, I suggest we download the new version for that product to test this issue. Otherwise, please disable the add-in to work around this issue.ThanksAllen

I assume you are using Exchange?If so, do you have a virus scanned on the mailbox stores?If so, disable Nod32 mailbox scanning on the clients.Karl

you can disable the addons from Help-->about microsoft office outlook-->disabled items.. disable the addon and then see the results if its still the same post back.Qais

Dear AllanThanks For Reply Sorry I was On Leave And Could not loginI Am using Nod version 4 and it work for all users except for 2 and 4 users. i had already disabled the ADDonfor thoseusers in their clients.the interesting question is why itnot working only for 2-4 users.RASA
