Hello

some of the received e-mails with greek characters appear as you see in the photo...This is outlook 2007 installed on a computer with windows 7....we disabled antivirus kaspersky, but no change...we tried to change the fonts...nothing....

Greek characters appear in subject, while english characters and numbers appear ok..

Can someone assist?

Hi,

When you open the received message, please do the following:

Under Message tab, click Other Actions -> Encoding -> More.

You should then see a list of languages, select "Greek (Windows)".

thank you for the reply. It helped to find the solution. I did what you proposed. But with the option "Greek (Windows) the characters in the photo turned into questionamrks and lines. Then I selected Unicode (UTF-8) and the message appeared correctly with the Greek characters.

I will keep an eye on it and see if this works smoothly.
