Outlook 2007 Calendar - Recurring meeting updates being sent as individual meeting requests
New Member Posts: 14 Joined: 6.Feb.2007 Status: online I am having an odd issue with a recurring meeting that is owned by one of my executives. When the executives assistant adds a new user to a recurring meeting it sends out individual meeting requests for the remainder of the scheduled meetings. She has had this happen three times with the same meeting within the past week. All other requests are being sent correctly. Details: Exchange 2007 Outlook 2007 Person sending the meeting requests out is a delegate granted "send on behalf of" permissions. This meeting request occurs once a week and is scheduled to end in December. When she adds a new user to the meeting or re-sends the request to users they are receiving 12 or 13 meeting requests instead of just one. None of the future meetings have been modified although the entire occurrence has been modified a few times with text and updated information pertaining to the meeting itself. Any help or suggestion you can offer me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi Do you select the "Open the series' when modify the Recurring meeting? Test the problem in exchange online mode and see if the future meetings are updated a. Click Tools->Options->Mail setup tab->E-mail Accounts. b. Highlight the outlook account, click Change. c. Uncheck the "Use Cached Exchange mode" checkbox and restart the outlook. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. Thanks Gen Lin-MSFT
