Outlook 2007 Calendar Sharing Issues
I am trying to share a calendar for a certain user in Outlook 2007. i right click on the calendar and then go to "Share Calendar" when the invitation is trying to be sent out it says "error while preparing to send sharing message" when i go into sharing properties it says "some permissions cannot be displayed. the operation failed" and the sharing page is greyed out. I am logged in as the user when i am doing this. any help or suggestions are appreciated.

These may be since u don't have admin rights.Try logging into the systemwith admin credentials and check out if u get the other options enabled. And try the things whichi told you earlier.Gimme answers to these questions:-Which outllook version are you using??Haveyou share any of the calender with the same person??Have you shared the same calender earlier with the same person??It's some thing like Publish a calendar andthen share the same calendar by adding the users to it.Resending the invite forwill prompt you with the ERROR messageit already shared.

Remove all delegates rule with MFCMapi (configure outlook profile in non-cache mode while using mfcmapi) and try sharing calendar again in outlook. Refer below thread for the procedure of deleting delegates rule with MFCMapi... http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrgeneral/thread/8ef3fa80-7692-4402-b788-39774a2e81e9 If you are not an admin, ask your admin to remove all the permissions from calendar folder of your mailbox from outlook, if he gets same problem then open server by selecting All Mailboxes in PFDavAdmin, browse calendar folder of user's mailbox and check the DACLs State and if state is not good, try to fix it... Well, you can NOT use default administrator account because it has deny full mailbox permission on all mailboxes so you will get this error. You can create a new normal user account, give access on all mailboxes of a server with below method and open pfdavadmin using that account, you can run pfdavadmin on any of the workstation because it requires to install .net framework 1.1 FAQ: Access on All the Mailboxes of a Server Exchange 2007 http://exchangeshare.wordpress.com/2008/09/05/faq-access-on-all-the-mailboxes-of-a-server-exchange-2007/Amit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Hi,Did you download the latest version of PFDavAdmin? And PFDavAdmin requires .net 1.1 on the workstation.First, download the latest version of the PFDavAdmin utility from the download site below:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=635be792-d8ad-49e3-ada4-e2422c0ab424&DisplayLang=enThen check whether we can log into the affected mailbox.ThanksAllen
