I have a user using Outlook 2010, When he clicks on his contacts his calendar shows up.  He can open his contacts if he right clicks on contacts and tells it to open in a new window.  How do I fix this?

Does it happen when you launch Outlook with safe mode? (Outlook.exe /safe) There might be some add-ins cause this behavior.

By the way, the title tells me your are using Outlook 2007 but the discription shows Outlook 2010. So, if you have further asking, please detail your version. Thanks.
