I would like to receive new mail notification in the form of a pop-up on my desktop. Is this function available? If not, can anyone advise on a "no thrills" optional program? I don't want all the garbage of cool gadgets and animals running accross my screen. Just a simple pop up. Thanks

Hi, The new mail desktop alert is already present in Outlook 2007. If for any reason, you do not get the alerts, do this : Open Outlook. Go to Tools > Options >Preferences >Advanced E-mail Options. Here Check/Uncheck the "Display a New Mail Desktop Alert". Click OK twice.
