I am unable to open public folders with Outlook 2007 clients. I am able to open public folders with OL 2003. Also I am able to open them via OWA and RPC/HTTPS(even when using 2007) Environment: Exchange 2003 with sp2 One Backend server (running the store) One Frontend server ( running OWA and RPC/HTTPS) Also getting this in the Application log every 25 minutes: Event Type: Error Event Source: MSExchangeFBPublish Event Category: General Event ID: 8197 Date: 9/17/2009 Time: 4:10:29 PM User: N/A Computer: LWEX01T Description: Error initializing session for virtual machine LWEX01T. HI, this event error logged when the exchange server background task that pools the free/busy system folder is not able to bind to a global catalog server. There are 4 methods you can try.
