Outlook 2007 and web access email (exchange?) 2003
Hi allI did seach threads for help on this - please send me to the correct forum if I missed it! I have two questions please:I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit at home. 1. My work uses Web access email 2003. I can access it at home through the Internet, but i cannot accept the certificate. The IT help people insist there is a place under the log-in screen to accept the certiifcate, but I do not have that. So, I am needing steps to do that please.2. I am now using Outlook 2007 for my personal email, since Windows Mail is gone. its fine. I then set up the web access email to come in through Outlook. That is working - sort of. a. how do I create a "Deleted Items" folder for this account and tell the deleted items to go there? When I click on an email to delete it, it shows a line through it but it is still showing in the same folder. b. My Personal folders has a "deleted items' folder for my personal email account - it would be ok if the work deleted items went there if necessary. Thanks very much!DebbieDebbie

Hi there,1. Can you provide the data you see in your Web Browser when going to your Company OWA url?2. It appears you have setup your Outlook 2007 profile to use IMAP, you should configure to use RPC over HTTPs for Exchange 2003. More details here: http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Outlook_2003_Connect_Exchange_2003.html , however you will have to contact your IT Help People to see if they support it, and any specific settings for your Organization.OliverOliver Moazzezi | Exchange MVP, MCSA:M, MCTS:Exchange 2010, BA (Hons) Anim

Hi Ryan,I would speak to your IT Help Desk for the settings for connecting Outlook to Exchange when you are working from home. If you are setting this up yourself, then sure help is available as we can work through the settings together - I would advise to start a new thread if that is the case.OliverOliver Moazzezi | Exchange MVP, MCSA:M, MCTS:Exchange 2010, BA (Hons) Anim
