Hummm .. Is it hapening for all users ???
What version of Exchange 2010 you are using . Is it production ?.
Public Folder doesn't work with Outlook 2007 in current public beta and have some issue with outlook 2007. Exchange 2010 introduces a new client access service named RPC Client Access . This service lives on the Client Access Server (CAS) and allows MAPI
clients (Outlook) to connect to a CAS server just like pretty much all the other Exchange clients do.
Check property for autodiscover property in server for authentication.
Under Autodiscover properties> Directory Security> Authentication Methods> I checked "Integrated Windows Authentication".

If you are using exch 2010 Beta version then Refer below thread for registry keys... http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchange2010/thread/7d5cf3dc-71b6-4252-95d6-6c52e654f90d

I suspect it's a misconfigured virtual directory in IIS. Outlook 2007 uses Exchange Web Services for things like out of office, offline address book, and free-busy data.
