Firstly, I have read up on all similar questions/ issues and the circumstances (as far as I understand them) are not the same as mine (they are often with people using Microsoft Exchange). 

I am running Outlook 2010 (32 bit) running on Windows 8 64bit crashes when accepting a meeting request.

I am not using Outlook Exchange Folder but rather simply running Outlook on my computer, my email addresses configured using IMAP. 

When I accept meeting requests (not all, but some, and I have not been able to find the commonality between them), my Outlook crashes. 

Based on the recommendations in one article, I ran Outlook in Safe Mode to see if this issue might be related to some third-party add-ins in the Outlook program. I can reproduce the same error in Safe Mode. 

This seems to be a bug within Outlook. Can anyone help, please?

1. Perform a clean boot to disable third party applications:

2. Create a new Profile, to verify if the issue still persists:
