I am trying to move my contacts into a subfolder.

I can move some items with no problem but other items come up with the message:-

"You don't have the permission to move this item" I can't see any difference between the items.

Any suggestions welcome.

Hi,

Please try to move the certain contact item into a new creating contacts subfolder.

If the operation could  be done, it indicates the previous folder is read-only permission and we cannot modify/add anything into that.

For example, I have no permission to add contact item into Lync Contacts folder which is automatically created by Lync client.

If the operation couldnt be done, please try to directly move the contact items through web-based access then check the result.
