Outlook 2010 Expand local distribution Group

Hello,

we are usin g Exchange 2010 SP3Ru1 with Office 2010SP1 and facing the problem that when a user creates a new mail and enters local distribution groups into the to address field Outlook 2010 doesn't send emails to the recipients. But as soon as the user expands the local distribution group it works. The distribution are located in the public folders.

Could anybody help me solving this issue.

Appreciate the help

Hi,

Did you receive any NDRs when you send the message to the Distribution List? It seems that the DL is created and stored in Public folder and everyone has the permission could send the message by the address. So, I want to know whether your colleague uses it fine? If no, I think the DL in public folder need to refresh/update or totally recreat it. There might be something contact item in it is aged or corrupted. Thanks.
