Cheers Reshmi Just adding for information we have Exchange 2007 which we are still using and we have also installed exch 2010 but not quite in use. Iam not so sure if thats what is coursing the problem..

Hello, Please use PFDAVADMIN tool or ExFolders to set the permission. PFDAVADMIN for Exchange 2003/2007 and ExFolders for Exchange 2010. Thanks, Simon
