Outlook 2010 moving messages from inbox to another folder does not work on some mail messages.
When I attempt to move messages from the inbox to another folder on some messages the message is copied to the specified folder but the message still remains in the inbox. This problem only occurs with some messages. Also if the message has been copied to the other folder by this procedure trying to move it again fails - in that the message still remains in the inbox. If a copy of the message in the inbox is already in the folder which I am trying to move it to then Outlook should just delete the message from the inbox. Instead it just remains in the inbox with no error message or notification that the move failed.

Before we go any further, I would like to know the type of email account you are using, POP3, IMAP or Exchange?

This issue may be caused by data file itself, please use SCANPST.exe to scan/fix the OST/PST until no error reports.

Thanks.
