I am running Windows 7 (64 bit) on two computers with Outlook 2010 as my e-mail program. Computer #1 is being used for all internet functions, including e-mail. Computer #2 is attached to the internet and can be used for e-mail as well. Computer #1 email functions stopped two days ago with the following Error Notice 'Task 'gc.keed1@bigpond.com - Receiving' reported error (0x8004210A): 'The operation timed out waiting for a response from the receiving (POP) server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or ISP. I can receive e-mails on Computer #2 with no problem. I have installed a number of other e-mail programs and received e-mails without any problem, but as soon as I import the Outlook 2010 data etc into the new e-mail program, I get the same problem. I even purchased an Outlook 2013 licence and installed it, but it also did not work. My thought is, the problem is lying in Outlook 2010. I have tried to repair the problem through the settings, but still no joy. I would appreciate any advice and assistance to try and fix this problem.
