Outlook 2010 slows down desktop shortcut hotkeys

Since I have upgraded Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2010 strange thing happens. Unless Outlook is running, my Desktop user-defined shurtcuts work quick within instant. (e.g. CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+N invoke Notepad). When I run Outlook, it works also quickly. As soon as I start syncing with Exchange !!! (i.e. press F9) suddenly the responses from all the shortcuts start to have delay of e.g. 4 seconds !! which is very annoying and I cannot even think of technical interconnection between syncing Outlook and using Desktop shortcuts (some keyboard hooks).

As I click the shortcut with mouse, it pops up very fast, but not when pressing the keyboard. As soon as I terminate Outlook.exe / or just exit Outook in regular way, shortcuts start to be quick as before.

The same problem happens at two computers. (both have Windows 7 64-bits EN SP1)

Of course I first tried to "msconfig, selective boot, disable all services"... etc  but I made sure it had no influence. Outlook does this strange behaviour.

I have 2010 EN SP1 patched one

I am connected to corporate Exchange via http tunnelling. Also there is secondary pop3 account being synced on F9.

This happens even when Outlook starts in offline mode ! which is unbeliavable.

To be more precise, Outlook also somehow may be interconnected with Office Communicator // aka ucmapi.exe process. This leads me maybe some kind of addin or mail profile leftover from old version can do this....

Could someone give me a hint what can cause such odd behaviour of new Outlook ?

Hello,

From your description, I consider the issue seems occured by outlook. Because you said this happens even when Outlook starts in offline mode.

So I recommend you post your issue to outlook forum.

Besides, I consider the issue may be related to your PC performance.
