Outlook 2013 - Delayed Calendar invites

When I google this action I get way more results than I can filter easily. So I came here in hopes that someone will have specific knowledge about this end user's question.

Environment: Exchange 2010 SP3

Client: Office 2013

The users recently had her PC re-imaged and claims that in Outlook 2010 she could send delayed calendar invites while the workstation was turned off. The user would set them all up in Outlook to be send out at 7am the next morning and turn off her PC and go home for the day. The user said ever since we updated the workstation with Outlook 2013 they have lost this ability.

In our testing we have not been able to repeat this behavior in Outlook 2013. In fact, we cannot do it in Outlook 2010 either. The delayed send works when the Outlook client is on and when the workstation stays powered up overnight but fails when we have it powered off.

I'm doing a sanity check here, is there a way to put this job onto the mailbox on the server so that it will be processed there without the need of a client to be present and logged in to process the request?
