Outlook 2013 - Disable Apps for Office

Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the "apps for office" button in Outlook 2013? (New email, Message ribbon tab, Apps for Office)

I have applied the 2 group policy settings available in the ADMX files (Block Apps for Office, Block the Office Store) and these are working perfectly for Word, Excel etc... however the option remains for Outlook.

Environment Details:
Microsoft Office 2013 Professional Plus 32bit
SP1 and latest patches
Windows 7 and Windows 8 workstation (Same behaviour)
Latest ADMX files downloaded and applied to central store in Active Directory

Thanks

Hi,

As you mentioned, the group policy settings worked for Word and Excel, apparently they had been configured correctly. The only explanation that the button in Outlook doesn't get disabled is that it is not controlled by this policy.

Then I read from some internal materials and confirmed that Outlook does not have any policies or registry data to disable Apps for Outlook.
