Outlook 2013 - Views Collapsing when opening an email

Hope someone can help with this one! One of our users is having his folders collapse when he clicks on an email or even tries to open a folder, the view just closes every open folder and sub folder.

I have tried a few fix's, The user has had is profile deleted and recreated on two different machines, office 2013 has been repaired, then after it didn't work uninstalled completely then re installed, outlook has been ran in safe mode, using command switches I have reset any custom views he may of had and reset the navigation pane view back to default, I have also disabled any add-ins.

I really cant find the root cause of this issue, I was hoping it was going to be a dodgy add-on but that wasn't the case.

Thanks,

James

Does it occur when you click on the mail or open a folder through Web-based Access?

Since you have tried to log onto your account in different machines but the got the same behavior, this issue should be caused by the mailbox itself. Please  import them into a PST for backup and clean his mailbox to check if the issue still persists.

If possible, you may also move his mailbox to another data store on Exchange site to check the result. Thanks.
