Hi there
On a Device (A) running Win 8.1, my Outlook 2013 was working fine with 3 accounts set up. I upgraded Device (A) to Win 10 and Outlook 2013 stopped sending my emails. Receiving is ok but not sending. I had emails in each account's outbox and they didn't get sent.
I've looked at other forum discussions and saw that a " sfc /scannow
" command could help. I executed the command, I was told there were some corupt files that were fixes and then restarted my PC. I opened Outlook 2013 and email started
sending. So I would assume this issue is solved.
Additionally, I have also noticed that the syncing between my Outlook 2013 on Device A does not replicate in Windows Live Mail on Device (A) or on another Device (B) running Outlook 2010 (Win 8.1) or Windows Live Mail on Device (B) or OWA. Can this issue have been solved with the SFC command or are there other issues.
Lastly, I am having difficulties with Device (A) running Windows Live Mail. At the same time Outlook 2013 stopped sending email, Windows Live Mail also crashed and since then isn't working. I've tried almost every tip in discussions forums to fix it, e.g. repairing it, uninstalling then reinstalling, defragging the files, etc... but only ended in a situation where I can't even open the app. Is this something you can help me with or will I be directed elsewhere.
I believe the 2 issues on Device (A) (Outlook 2013 and Windows Live Mail) may be related as they happened at the same time. The reason I used to run both apps are the same time was because of the syncing issue. I typed and sent from Outlook 2013 but did NOT move emails around, waited for Inbox and Sent Items syncing on Windows Live Mail only to move them there into the respective folders. It's a hassle running 2 apps for the same emails.
Last but not least, on Device (B), I have similar syncing issues between Outlook 2010 and Windows Live Mail. Device B is running on Win 8.1
Please help
Thanks
