Outlook 2013 Categories column arrange

Alright, so I went to arrange the Categories column so that it would be the first column on the left. I can put it there, but then all of the colors I so carefully set are all gone, and it only tells me the name of the category.

If I move it over one column, it shows up just fine. What gives?

Hi,

I can reproduce it on my Outlook 2013 as well, as far as I can say now, it is by design and there is no such method to change it so far.
