Hi,

I have an issue where I cannot get Outlook 2013 to connect to an exchange account.

I have two exchange accounts to try, neither work on this machine but do on other machines.

So I know it's not username or dns cname issues.

On this machine I can however get Outlook to connect to an imap mailbox.

On this machine I can get the Windows 8 mail app to connect to the exchange accounts.

I also have the M Connectivity Analyzer installed and it connects.

I have tried several new profiles.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times.

Windows and office up to date.

From a 365 account.

Do you use Exchange online or Exchange 2013 server?

If it's Exchange 2013, please check if there is any error message when you try to configure Exchange account. And based on your description, you can configure the same account in a different machine, so the issue is related to this one machine.

If you are running Exchange online, in order to resolve your prolem, I recommend you ask in Office 365 forum, you might get better help there.

If you are getting trouble in connecting to your Exchange online by using Outlook 2013....please follow these steps. 

1) In Outlook, click the arrow next to Account Settings on the File tab, and then click Account Settings.

2) In the Account Settings box, select your account on the E-mail tab, and then click Repair. Follow the instructions in the repair wizard.

3) When the repair is finished, restart Outlook.

It's an Office365 Exchange.

I tried that forum and didn't really get much help.  I got advised to contact my IT dept.Which is me as a small business.
