Hi all,

We are experiencing some strange Certificate errors that we are unable to pinpoint the cause.

Some users are being prompted with the Security Alert message "The security certificate was issued be a company you have not chosen to trust....."

Background:

• So far it only appears to be uses of Outlook 2013 and not 2010 or 2007
  
• We run Exchange server 2007
• We are using a Self signed cert
• Checked a few users and the exchange certificate is in the users Trusted Root Certificates Authorities

I have found this article which may relate to the issue (https://exchangemaster.wordpress.com/2013/05/07/new-behavior-in-outlook-2013-causing-certificate-errors-in-some-environments/) but the odd thing is that a couple of the users on the domain are not using an email account from our Exchange but are still being prompted with the Security Alert for EX1.localdomain.local

Anyone experienced this or have any ideas?
