Outlook 2013 disables com add in

Hello, I have a Outlook 2013 (connected to exchange2010) with a few add ins.
One COM add in is not available when I stop outlook and start it.
Everytime I have to go to File - options - add ins - click Start - check the add in and click OK.
then its loaded again. But when I stop and start outlook, its disabled again.

I tried to disable all add ins and only the one that stops loading enabled, same problem.
I dont get any error and no logging in the event viewer.
Can I disable something in outlook (or register) so every addin is loaded no mather what??
It worked for a few days but not anymore.
I have this problem with one pc all others works fine.

Tnx Marc

Hi,

Please follow the steps below to try fixing the issue:

1. Exit Outlook and uninstall the add-in from Windows Control Panel.

2. Open Registry Editor and navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Office/15.0/Outlook/Resiliency

3. Remove the REG_BINARY values found under DisabledItems and CrashingAddinList keys.

4. Navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Office/Outlook/Addins

Then, remove the keys for the problematic add-in.

5. Reinstall the add-in and restart Outlook to see the result.

Please let me know the result.

Hi

As per the information and details provided by you, to solve this problem please follow these steps: -

Although add-ins can enhance your user experience, they can occasionally interface or conflict with Outlook. Try to start Outlook without any add-ins running.

  1. Do the following, as appropriate for your operating system:
    • If you are running Windows 8, swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. Type Run in the search box, and then tap or click Run.
    • If you are running Windows 7 or Vista, click Start.
    • If you are running Windows XP, click Start, and then click Run.

  2. Type Outlook /safe, and then click OK.
  3. If the problem is resolved, click Options on the File menu, and then click Add-Ins.
  4. Select COM Add-ins, and then click Go.
  5. Clear all the check boxes in the list, and then click OK.
  6. Restart Outlook.

The solution provided by Mr. Steve Fan is a perfect match for your question, and you can also try this solution too.

I hope this information will be helpful for you.

Thanks and regards
