Outlook 2013 incoming mail delayed

Mail from one of my accounts is delayed, some times hours in Outlook 2013.

The linked gmail account works fine and i can see the delayed mail on my phone and other mobile devices.

Any ideas as to what could be the issue?

What kind of account do you use? Exchange, IMAP or POP?

The firewall or antivirus program may cause the delay, To troubleshoot the issue, I suggest you temporarily turn off firewall and antivirus program, and then send a test email again.

Sorry for the slow reply - log on fun!

The account that has the problem is IMAP.

When Sopos and windows firewall turned off, messages seem to have come in OK. Now trying with just firewall off.
