Outlook 2013 intermittently hangs

I have a Win 7 64bit desktop with Office 2013 installed and connected to a third party exchange 2013.

Outlook will hang intermittently throughout the day, usually when sending or replying to an email, but not always. The message is usually outlook is trying to receive data from the server.

Restarting outlook usually clears the issue for a little while until it hangs again.

I have made a new profile, ran in safe mode to disable add-ins, re-installed outlook, updated all graphics drivers, I even changed my anti-virus package and still nothing works like it should. I installed netbalancer and gave outlook high priority bandwidth to no avail.

I also checked the connection status at the point of dropping by CTRL + Right clicking the taskbar and all connections were showing as established. I am completely stumped.

I have another desktop here that runs office 2010 connected to the same exchange 2013 server and that suffers from no issues whatsoever.

In your mailbox settings have you ensured that it is configured to use cached exchange mode?

Hi

We can try to run the Office Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT) to get a very detailed report of your current Outlook profile. See:

In addition, we can also try to perform a Windows Clean Boot to troubleshoot if the issue is caused by software conflict:
