Outlook 2013 on a new Win7 desktop crashes constantly when trying to setup an IMAP email account

In late June 2013, I purchased a replacement Dell desktop running Windows 7 and Outlook 2013.  I have 2 pop3 email accounts, and both worked fine except my iphone5 kept building up emails in my junk inbox(over 2500 every 3 to 5 days).  So after talking with Apple, then Dell, everyone pointed me to my mail provider which is a hosting company called Server Intellect.

After talking with the tech dept about my issue, we decided to create a new IMAP account so that I would get syncing (since I use 4 pc's (1 laptop).  We have now been working for 3 days trying to get the imap account setup to where I see all my emails in my inbox and in a hierarchy of saved emails I have.  I think Outlook has crashed 50-100 times in the 3 days while we are simply trying to get the account to sync the emails to my new desktop.

Here is the error I get when Outlook crashes:

Faulting application outlook.exe, version 15.0.4505.1510, stamp 51aa0d55, faulting module pstprx32.dll, version 15.0.4505.1510, stamp 51aa0b81, debug? 0, fault address 0x000c8103

I am a 35 year IT professional, but on the mgmt side, so I can't figure this out.  Any suggestions

Have you tried to perform the basic troubleshoot steps currently? Run "Outlook.exe /safe" in the Windows search bar to test the behavior in Outlook safe mode; Create a new Outlook profile to throw off the old corrupted profile or data file.

If the crash problem still persists even in a new profile without any macro/add-ins runs, we need to further check the issue through ADPlus.vbs. For more details, please read the following article. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/286350
