Outlook 2013 read receipt tracking not working

Hi I obtain many read receipts but they never then show a tracking button in the ribbon. If I delete the read receipt I have no way of knowing that the email was read.

Can you help.

Hello,

Read receipt is itself a way of getting aware about the fact that mail has been read by the receiver. So there is no other reliable way of knowing that the email was read. Maybe any third party tool can do it. But i am completely unaware of any such tool.

Hi,

In which email message did you check the Tracking button? We should check it in the sent message in the Sent Items folder. Moreover, you'll need to receive at least one read receipt to make the Tracking button to show up. The read receipt should show with the following icon:

Go to your Sent Items folder, you should see the sent message showing with the following icon:

Now, in your Sent Items folder, double click to open the message you sent and you will see the Tracking button in the Show group on the Ribbon.

Hi, try to use ContactMonkey. It's emails tracking for Outlook 2007/2010/2013. It tracks how many times emails were opened, when, where, with what device and what links were clicked.
