Since recently installing Office 365/Office 2013 on a PC with Win 8.1 Outlook never completes synchronizing and irregularly completes send/receive. Outlook is linked to my long standing gmail account. When I check on my Gmail account
I can find no large outgoing message that might cause this. This issue only began after installing Outlook 2013. I have deleted all Gmail Trash, no change. There are no files in my Draft or Deleted folders. A Microsoft Outlook
message appears every 5-10 seconds and the synchronizing never completes. The complete message is "Your IMAP server wants to alert you to the following: Message too large. http://support.google.com/
Hi,
The large size emails may show up with a size of zero in your Outlook. We can use the following steps to find out the large email(s):
1. In your Outlook, open Advanced Find dialog (press Ctrl + Shift + F).
2. In the Advanced Find dialog, click Browse button. Select all folders and subfolders in your Gmail account. Click OK.
3. Switch to More Choices tab, check the check box labelled "Only items with: one or more attachments".
4. Click Find Now button.
5. When the search is complete, sort the search results by Size (click the Size column).
6. Find and delete all emails that show up with a size of zero. Also delete these emails from Deleted Items folder.
7. Restart Outlook and run Send/Receive All Folders to see the result.
Please let me know the result.
