Outlook 2013 syncing problems

I have the same problem as everyone else.
My Outlook 2013 IMAP is not syncing correctly.
If i got the same IMAP account on 2 computers and marks an email as "read" on computer 1.
Computer 2 sees the email as "read" which is good.
But if i mark the email as "unread" on computer 2 its still shows as "read" on computer 1.

The problem is that the first computer that reads the message can alter the properties of the message
on both computers if the message is "read" or "unread"

But not the computer which did not read the mail first. When you alter the properties on that mail.
The changes will not be made on the other computer.

I have tried to run outook in safe mode and remove the account and add it again.
Still the same problem. The problem occurs on all computers both at work and at home.
Different email servers and domain names. Different OS both win 8 64-bit win 7 -32 and 64 bit
everything is up to date on updates.

How can i fix this?

Hi,

Log on the Webmail, make a read email as "unread", then check if it would be synced to Outlook Client.

I also suggest you disable the firewall and anti-virus program to try again.

If this issue persists, go to FILE tab -> Account Settings -> Account Settings -> E-mail tab -> Double click on the account name -> More Settings -> Outgoing Server tab -> If you selected Use same settings as my incoming mail server, I suggest you choose Lon on using, type User Name and Password in the boxes -> OK.

Hopefully this helps.
