Outlook 2013 won't open after Windows 10 install
Outlook 2013 will open for about 2 seconds and then shuts down.  It's open long enough for me to read that an add-on is disable.  What add-on does Outlook need to work?  This all happen after Windows 10 install. It does not stay open long enough for me to click on view add-ons.

Hi,

Please also try to start Outlook in Safe Mode:

Press Win + R, type "outlook.exe /safe" in the Run dialog, press Enter.

Check if Outlook will start well in Safe Mode, if it works well, go to FILE -> Options -> Add-Ins to enable all add-ins, check if Outlook will start in normal mode.

If the problem still exists, I suggest you run a repair of Office from Control Panel -> Programs and Features, make sure all Office components are correct.

Hello,

First, you go with the Moderators suggestion. If the problem still appears, then you can also try to run System File Checker or sfc command. Know how to run this command, click here: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/f399a6e5-edba-4402-868d-b0a14cf8a44f/outlook-email?forum=outlook

Is there a difference in how this works if you upgraded from Win 7 or Win 8.1? I have no problems with any Office 2013 programs on the laptop I upgraded from 8.1, but my desktop had Win 7, and I'm having this problem. It seems to affect all Office 2013 programs, not just Outlook. The same happens with Word.

FYI, using the Win + R and opening in safe mode doesn't work.
