Outlook Anywhere Configuration Issue
I'm running Exchange 2007 SP2 with multiple CAS servers. I need to change our certificate name, and I'm noticing that Exchange keeps enforcing the setting in Outlook to "Only connect to proxy servers that have this principal name in their certificate." I can uncheck it, but it comes back. I need to remove this enforcement for new users that connect to Outlook, and existing ones, automatically. I thought I had done this in the past by running set-outlookprovider and setting the certprincipalname in expr to null, or to none, but that's not working.Has something changed with SP2, or is there something else I'm missing?

Can you confirm the command you ran, also what's Get-OutlookProvider |FL saying? Can you dump it in this thread please. This does work as noted here: http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2008/09/29/449921.aspxI'll jump on an SP2 box in a moment, test and get back to you, as I had it working in RTM and SP1 environments.Oliver

Hi Dan, I would like to know whether you have run following command:set-outlookprovider expr -certprincipalname noneNote: We should not add "$" before noneAfter that, please reset IIS and configure a new profile by using Autodiscover serviceto check the result. Thanks,Mike
