Outlook Autodiscover Failure

Hi,

on exchange 2013, OWA and mobiles are working fine but users when open outlook are prompt for credentials, which never happened before as outlook login was windows integrated. some users outlook doesnt connect even after giving credentials, and others get connected on providing credentials. i want it like before no prompts for credentials, just windows integrated.

when i try to create new user profile in outlook in the third step logging to server prompts fro a login credential, which is unusual behavior never seen before.

Hi ,

Did the affected outlook users are residing in the LAN network as same as the exchange server?

yes it is the same LAN network, hosts and the exchange.

basically its all the users outlook prompting for credentials inside the LAN network and outside the network.

outlook 2010 and 2013 all the same, OWA working perfectly fine. 

when i open the link https://kbrokerage.com:443/Autodiscover/Autodiscover.xml & https://autodiscover.kbrokerage.com:443/Autodiscover/Autodiscover.xmlit asks for credentials which is good and can access the xml.

i can ping autodiscover.kbrokerage.com 

local DNS and public DNS resolves it fine.

however when i add a user on mobile it use auto-config and gives me certificate and mailbox is configured and working.

but on outlook i cannot add new mailbox since asking for credentials and not accepting. and users already connected are asked for credentials when using outlook sometimes they connect giving the credentials and sometimes it just keeps looping and doesn't connects.

Hi,

According to your posting, I noticed that the outlook connectivity test failed with the certificate for Autodiscover service is not trusted. Please run the following command to check your certificate settings:

Get-ExchangeCertificate | fl

Additionally, please make sure all related Exchange services are started and running in all Exchange servers. Generally, a third-party certificate is recommended to be used for Exchange server because it is used to be trusted by client machines.
