Outlook Express and MSExchange 2007 setup
We are trying to set/enable a POP3 in Exchange 2007 We have gone into the MMC and in the services snapin/microsoft exchange pop3 and changed the startup type to automatic and then started the service. Next I have gone in and Set-CASMailbox - Identity xxxx.net -PopEnabled $true However when we go into the Mailbox Features, the POP3 is not showingand I cannot enable it. Can anyone let me know what I am missing? Thank you

There are no EMC for POP3 & IMAP4 setting. For enable POP3 Service in Exchange 2007 CAS just only start or stop MSExchangePOP3 service For enable or disable pop3 service for user please use Set-CASMailbox - Identity"Alex Bush"-PopEnable$TRUE or $False If disable user pop3 protocol, in the user mailbox will see ProtocolSettings: {POP30}

When we look at the instructions we have to set up outlook express to work with exchange 2007, there is a picture of the mailbox features that shows the pop3. Do you happen to know why or have you seen this? Can you direct me to where I may find valid directions to setup the Outlook Express end? Thank you in advance, we have done the Set-CASMailbox -Identify 'Alex Bush" -PopEnabled$True
