Quote from my previous post: Hi, First please ensure whether your OS has been set to a RTL language such as Hebrew/Arabic etc which supports for right-to-left Note: You can check the setting trough Start-Control Panel-Regional and language optionslanguages. (right-to-left: Refers to keyboard settings, document views, user interface objects, and the direction in which text is displayed. Arabic and Hebrew are right-to-left languages.)Under that scenario, layout and global test setting will not work for Outlook. If it is the case, then theres no workaround for this issue. 1. If not, then please reset Outlook to the default view configuration, use the /cleanviews switch when you start Outlook. 2. If that do not work then I suspect that the behavior was the result of some type of system setting, such that the system expected a right-to-left language setting for the user's data in this regard. So I recommend you to change language settings from English to Arabic and back, You can follow the steps below to do that: 3. Disable all the third party add-ins. 4. Enable a right-to-left language (Arabic) in Outlook Language setting Note: Start-All Programs-Microsoft Office-Microsoft Office Tools-Microsoft Office 2007 Language Settings-Arabic. 5. Restart Outlook, we needed to enable the "Left-to-Right" by selecting a Left-to-Right language. Note: Tools-Options-Mail format-Editor Options-Popular-Language Settings-English. 6. Switch Primary editing language to English. Besides, please try to scan the computer via anti-vius application to see if it has been infected by virus.Regards, Xiu
