Outlook and pst
Hi,
We have exchange 2010 . Users have Outlook set up with Exchange server and a local PST file for off-server storage of all mail. When users do archive or drag an email from Inbox to a folder in PST file, it should move the
email. Now, instead of moving it, it copies it, leaving one file in PST and another
in Inbox. So users need to either hold down a button on the keyboard whilst clicking and dragging to pst, which is annoying, or users need to click, drag and
then delete the file from Inbox. I need help to resolve this to reduce exchange server database size. I need another way like exmerge on exchange 2010 erver that export the mail to pst and delete mail from exchange server.Thanks.

It works the same way as the file system when you drag-and-drop a file
between different drives.

It's a matter of user education.
