Outlook cache mode and Exchange Recipient Policies
Question: I have a user that is having the following problem:
His outlook is in cache mode we run a Recipient Policy that deletes email every certain time. His inbox on Outlook didn't seem to be fully cleared until we remove him from cache mode then the client showed up the current information in the mailbox.
If he goes back to cache mode then he gets the current emails and the old stuff that was deleted from the mailbox via the RP.
I checked his mailbox and it does not contain the old stuff anymore so I guess outlook is getting the information locally from the users computer. The minute you remove the cache mode the information gets updated and the old stuff disapears.
Does someone knows what is going on and how to fix it?
Thank you.

If the issue persists, please try the following suggestions:
1. Please disable all firewall and anti-virus software temporarily to check the issue
2. Start outlook in safe mode <Start->Run->outlook /safe> to check the issue
3. Disable all Non-Microsoft Services and reboot PC, see if we can reproduce issue
a. Start->run->msconfig
b. “Services” tab->check “Hide All Microsoft Services”->click “Disable All” Button
c. OK and Reboot, check the issue
Thanks,
