Hi I know in Outlook 2007 there is the option of requesting a Delivery Report or Read Reciept. Does anyone know how these work? At what point are they generated etc? I have a Manager in our company who is the recipient of a lot of mail from other people he doesn't want to read. He wants to set up a rule in Outlook to delete these, but is wondering if the sender would ever find out! We' re running Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2007.

Read receipts are sent by the e-mail client.
