Outlook function

Hi,

We have internal & external URL for email access :

Internal : http://owa.domain.com

External : https://extmail.domain.com

when i confgured my outlook 2010 using autodiscover and manully, i found  my outlook connects to external URL

outlook-->file-->info : access this account on web

But when i configured on outlook 2013 using autodiscover and manully, i found  my outlook connects to Internal URL

Do outlook 2013 have different functionality. ??

Hi,

What's you Exchange version? Exchange 2010 or Exchange 2013?

Please confirm where you are connecting to your Exchange server by using Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013 respectively. Generally, if you are using Outlook in external environment (using Outlook Anywhere outside the domain), the OWA URL should be the external one.

If the Outlook connects to Exchange from the domain joined computer, the OWA URL should be the internal one.

Hi,

For your Outlook 2010 client, please check the following settings in Account Settings:

In Exchange Proxy Settings, please make sure the On fast networks, connect using HTTP first, then connet using TCP/IP is unchecked. Then restart Outlook 2010.
