Outlook keeps asking for credentials when openning
Hi Folks,
Have a new HP Proliant running Server 2008 SBS.
Have 6 workstations all running Win7 Pro and Office 2010. The problem we have is when you open Outlook it asks for your credentials. When entered outlook works just fine. But if you exit and open, it will ask for credentials again.
Tried updates, creating new profiles in both outlook and windows. Becaues it happening to all workstation I'm guessing the problem lies in Exchange !?!?
Have similar setups on other systems and we don't get this problem.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Sounds like Outlook is configured to use Outlook Anywhere with basic authentication.
Configure the Exchange server to accepts windows integrated authentication as well and you should be fine.

Hi leif Made those changes. Outlook still asks for credentials after a reboot. Once entered outlook won't ask again even if you come out of outlook. But if you reboot again it will ask again. Outlook login network security is set to negotiate authentication.

Not sure if you tried this, manually download the OAB in the Outlook.

Hi,
For this issue, I want to clarify the following information before we go further:
1.
Do you have any problem when you access via OWA?
2.
Have you installed all the updates? Without installed Windows 2008 SP2 may cause the problem, please refer the following post:

3.
How does the Outlook client connect to the Exchange Server? RPC over HTTP or TCP/IP?
4.
Please check whether there is any error in your event log?
